What we do

Court filings, submitted on time and confirmed

Filing sounds simple until your e-file portal rejects the caption format at 4:47 PM on the day of a deadline. We handle the routing, the format check, the rejection follow-ups, and the fee tender — so your filing lands clean, on the docket, with confirmation in your inbox.

Different courts file differently. Federal courts run on PACER/CM/ECF. Most state courts have moved to mandatory e-filing through Tyler, Odyssey, or proprietary portals. Some local courts still require paper filing in person at the clerk's window. We work all three — and we know which one your destination court uses before quoting.

Filing fees are passed through at cost. We disclose anticipated fees at intake based on the court, the filing type, and any per-page or motion-fee schedules that apply, and we don't exceed the original quote without your authorization.

And when a clerk rejects a filing for a technical issue — wrong caption format, missing signature block, exhibit not bookmarked, fee tender mismatched — we handle the rejection. We coordinate the correction, refile, and protect your deadline. Rejection handling is included in every assignment, not billed as a separate event.

Paper / concierge filing

In-person filing at the clerk's window for courts that don't accept e-filing, or for filings that require physical originals — certain probate, recordings, or wet-signature documents.

  • Filing fees tendered at the window

Service speed tiers

Choose the dispatch speed that fits your deadline

Quoted timing assumes the court is operating normally and the filing is in proper format. Closures, e-file portal outages, and rejection cycles can affect any tier — we flag those at intake.

Initial attempt 5–7 days

Standard dispatch for filings without immediate deadline pressure — most non-urgent civil filings, motion practice, and discovery responses.

How it works

From intake to file-stamp confirmation, without the guesswork

A predictable workflow built around each court's actual filing procedures — you always know where the filing stands.

1
Intake & review

You send the documents and target court. We confirm the destination, identify the filing method (e-file vs paper), and quote in writing — including any anticipated court fees.

2
Format & compliance check

Documents are reviewed for caption format, page numbering, signature blocks, exhibit bookmarking, and local-rule requirements. We catch issues before the clerk does.

3
File & tender fees

The filing is routed through the required method — PACER/CM/ECF, a state e-file portal, or a runner at the clerk's window — and court fees are tendered with it.

4
Confirm & deliver

If the clerk rejects for a technical issue, we correct and refile — usually same day, deadline protected. Once accepted, you get file-stamped copies and written confirmation.

Why Served 123

The discipline that protects your deadline

Four things we do on every assignment that separate professional filing support from "we'll submit it and hope it's accepted."

E-file and paper, both

PACER/CM/ECF, Tyler, Odyssey, eFlex, and proprietary state portals on the electronic side — and a runner dispatched to the clerk's window when paper filing is required.

Format checked first

Caption format, page numbering, signature blocks, exhibit bookmarking, local rules — reviewed before submission so the filing is accepted the first time, not the third.

Rejection handling included

When a clerk rejects for a technical issue, we coordinate the fix and refile — typically the same business day. Included on every assignment, with your deadline protected throughout.

File-stamped, fees at cost

Conformed copies delivered with written confirmation; originals mailed when the court requires them. Filing fees passed through at cost — never marked up, disclosed at intake.

Questions, answered

What people ask us most

Not here? Email info@served123.com or use the form above.

What types of documents can you file?
Complaints, petitions, answers, responses, motions, briefs, memoranda of law, affidavits, declarations, stipulations, notices of appearance, discovery responses, exhibits, notices of appeal, probate petitions, bankruptcy schedules, and most other litigation-related court submissions. If it's filed with a court, we typically file it.
How fast can you file my documents?
We offer four service speed tiers, framed by the initial filing attempt: Routine (5–7 days), Preferred (2–3 days), Next-Day (within 24 hours), and Same-Day (same day). Same-day filing requires intake to arrive early enough for the destination court's filing window — we confirm realistic timing in writing at intake.
Do you handle e-filing?
Yes — e-filing is the most common path. We file through PACER/CM/ECF for federal courts and through state court e-file portals including Tyler, Odyssey, eFlex, and proprietary systems. Where the destination court still requires paper filing, we dispatch a runner to the clerk's window.
What about filing fees?
Court-assessed filing fees are passed through to you at cost — never marked up. We disclose anticipated fees at intake based on the court, the filing type, and any per-page or motion-fee schedules that apply. We don't move forward with anything that exceeds the original quote without your authorization.
What if my filing is rejected?
Clerks reject filings for technical issues all the time — wrong caption format, missing signature block, exhibit not bookmarked, fee tender mismatched. When that happens, we coordinate the correction with you and refile, typically the same business day. Rejection handling is included in every assignment, not billed separately, and your deadline is protected throughout.
Can you file in federal court?
Yes. We file in U.S. District Courts, Bankruptcy Courts, and Circuit Courts of Appeals through PACER/CM/ECF. Federal filings have their own format requirements and local rules — we know them and apply them before submission.
Do I get file-stamped copies?
Yes. Once the clerk accepts your filing, we deliver file-stamped (conformed) copies to your inbox along with written confirmation of filing. For courts that require returning physical originals, those are mailed back to you separately.
Can you handle deadline-sensitive filings?
Yes — that's the core of our Next-Day and Same-Day tiers. Same-day filing is feasible during court business hours when intake arrives early enough to dispatch. We confirm realistic timing in writing before accepting any deadline-sensitive assignment so there are no surprises.
